3 Spring Outfit Essentials + Giveaway Winner Announced!

We’ve been getting a little bit of sun, a little bit of rain, and a whole bunch of gloom down in San Diego, which means one thing. SPRING IS HERE! So here’s what I’m gravitating towards right now.

First off, there shall always be jeans. If I had to pick one bottom that I had to wear for the rest of my life, it would be a good pair of jeans (thank god I don’t have to pick just one). But the “boyfriend” jean is definitely a staple for the bipolar weather. They’ve been around for some time but it’s just so easy to feel lazy in them and great for a “sunny” weekend (or in my case a gloomy one).

Okay I’m starting to think this really isn’t a spring essentials but more of an "everyday" essentials. I tend to gravitate towards neutrals. My closet is basically white, black, grey and nude (and plaid). Most of the lighter colors come out in spring/summer time and the darker shades tend to come out more in the winter. So, I’ve been pulling out my white tank tops and plain white tees! I do like simple text on a graphic tee, which are so easily paired with that perfect pair of jeans I was talking about. I could probably wear that combination year round...

Now the majority of my shoes are black, but I do have a couple of nude shoes for the spring and summer months. The nude shoe is just so tasteful. Whether it is a pair of sandals, heels, boots or even sneakers, nude just goes with everything when the sun is out. It’s like being barefoot but better. Plus, if you ever step on shit, at least you’re covered.
