We’re officially under 100 days ‘till Christmas, the weather is getting cooler, and I’m now consistently scrambling over shorts for jeans. And as we say goodbye to September, and hello to pumpkins and candy, I decided to do an overdue haul/fall staples piece.
Sweater: Forever21
Jeans: Zara
Shoes: Alexander Wang
Bag: Zara
I can easily say that Zara is my favorite store. Whenever I need a basic, I can always count on Zara to carry an affordable high quality piece. So as the weather cools down, my go to piece is always black jeans. Zara’s TRF collection had these basic black skinnies for $35. And since I have been losing weight and didn’t want to pay over $100 on jeans I may not fit in in a couple months, this was the perfect pair. I may even stock up for the future. The denim is durable and definitely looks like they will last me through this winter and many more after that. Perfect with sweaters, coats, boots or sneakers, black jeans are definitely a fall/winter staple.
Boots: Forever21
I have a love-hate relationship with F21. Whenever I walk into the store looking for something I always come out empty handed, but when I walk in strictly with no intention of getting anything, I find things that I can’t help but buying. When I went to Vegas for Labor Day, I ran into these gorgeous boots. Despite the abnormally high price tag for F21 ($42), it was love at first sight. They seem to be of decent quality and will hopefully look even better with age. These boots will easily go with dresses or jeans. Also available in a Dark Green and Burgundy color at Forever21.com
Sweater: SincerelyJules
Tote: Zara
I’ve always loved the look of the LV Neverfull, and after passing on it and getting the Speedy B instead last year I have never stopped wondering if I made the right choice. I love my Speedy B and it’s functionality but the slouchy tote always comes back to haunt me. Since I’m constantly on the Zara website, I was quite shocked when I came across this beauty and its shocking sticker price. I love that the bag is a perfect burgundy red and perfect for my colorless closet but subtle enough for my neutral palette. Definitely inspired by the Neverfull, it has clip on the side corners to connect in the middle. The straps are thin and long enough to wear on your shoulder and the bag is the perfect size for me. But wait, that’s not the best part. The bag cost me $35. I know. It comes in a leather brown color as well. What are you waiting for? Go!!
